Children’s Darbar – Khalsa Week ’26

A special experience awaits the little ones this Khalsa Week!

Bring your kids to Children’s Darbar, where they will learn about the lives of our Gurus in a fun and engaging way!

Through IPS sessions and interactive station activities, the kids will explore the powerful journey of the Gurus' jot. It’s a wonderful opportunity for them to connect with Sikhi and learn together in Sangat.

Sangat Ji, we are proud to have Singapore Gatka Akhara at Khalsa Week this year!

Gatka is a Sikh martial art involving physical, mental and spiritual strength, that has been practised over hundreds of years, since the time of Sri Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji!

Gurmat Calligraphy Workshop

We are honoured to have @Gurprasaad_arts leading us in our Gurmat Calligraphy Workshop! This workshop is beginner-friendly and suited for all age groups! 

All participants will have the opportunity to partake in calligraphy with a Qalam (ink pen). 

Moreover, this workshop is focused on Guru Gobind Singh Ji, exploring the works and poetic side of our Dasam Patshah.

The Forgotten Indian Prisoners Of World War II

Gautam Hazarika is a Singapore based ex-banker who now researches lesser-known aspects of WWII in Southeast Asia such as Singapore’s wartime resistance and post war trials. He has spoken about his research findings at museums, conferences, literary festivals, and podcasts worldwide.

The Forgotten Indian Prisoners of World War II (Penguin India/ Pen & Sword UK 2025) is his first publication, which was launched in Mumbai by the Asiatic Society, in London at The Houses of Parliament, by the National University of Singapore, and has been covered by The Straits Times, BBC and extensively in the Indian press.

Join us for this talk with Mr Hazarika to commemorate the unsung sacrifices of Sikh soldiers during World War II.
